Looney Labs has started hosting a new type of event... 

we call it the

LOONEY Game-A-Thon!

At our Game-A-Thons we hang out together and play Looney Labs games. You can play any Looney Labs game you want, and at the end of the event we will award a bunch of prize medallions, to the person who won the most games, and the person who just played the most games, in various categories (Fluxxes, Pyramid games, and non-Fluxx non-Pyramid games). Our new custom “Looney Labs Game Tracker” system will collect and crunch the numbers for us, with all participants recording each game they play during the event using a special code that they scan after each game. And yes... a leaderboard is available to show your progress towards various prizes so you can strategically decide what you want to play next!

We want to test how well our Game Tracker software works with 30 players at a 3 hour event where all players are focused on this and only this event for the full time of the event.

We ran our second Looney Game-A-Thon at AwesomeCon in March 2026.  It was a lot of fun, and it taught us a bunch of things about our new Game Tracker software...

In January 2026 The Looneys debut a new tool they created called the Looney Labs Game Tracker at a Tech conference called CodeMash. The Game Tracker makes it super easy for us to track all the Looney Labs games played at an event and award prizes based on who played (and who won) all the various games played.  

We gave out 15 prize medallinos at CodeMash and had SO MUCH FUN!  Thanks for playing games with us!
